On ThurSday, we went to Ogilvy PR Consultant. Ogilvy PR Consultant located in Bank Mandiri building. When we came, the HRD manager welcomed us. Then several staffs of Ogilvy PR Consultant came. They started to tell us about Ogilvy. What is Ogilvy? Ogilvy is an international PR consultant which is founded by David Ogilvy. Now, there are many Ogilvy offices spread around the world. This Ogilvy company is the branch for Indonesia. Ogilvy PR Consultant works with other companies to create a good brand for a product. The founder of Ogilvy PR Consultant, David Ogilvy said,"We don't work for ourselves, we don't work for our company, but we work for the brand." PR in Ogilvy PR Consultant use English as the main languange. So, when they explained the company to us, sometimes they used Indonesian and English mixed together. ^^ PR of Ogilvy Consultant gave us many of their experiences and cases that they've worked. For example, MIZONE, they worked very hard to build the image of MIZONE. MIZONE was suspected contained dangerous ingredients. Although it didn't proved, but the image of MIZONE was breaking down. Ogilvy PR Consultant together with MIZONE company worked hard to held many events to reconsiliate MIZONE's brand. They used the "Jangan sampai kecolongan" tagline to show that MIZONE is good for health. Other brands that Ogilvy has worked together are Nokia, Apple, SONY, and other great company. That means Ogilvy is very professional with its works. Then, the questions forum opened. Many students asked about cases and working experience. At the end of the session, suddenly, the head of Ogilvy PR Consultant Indonesia came. He said that He was very pleased to greet us, and He also felt happy to work here in Jakarta, Indonesia. He got many good experiences working with Indonesian Ogilvy staffs. Ogilvy PR Consultant was very great and I hope I could work there someday.....(",)
